Raw Iceland ltd. is a licensed tour operator run by professional photographer Jon Pall Vilhelmsson.
Our main strengths lies in running Photography Holidays in the high season and Winter Workshops in other parts of the year. We are using super jeep 4x4s that are amazingly comfortable on rough highland tracks and can run trough deep snow and rivers. The photography lessons are informal discussion on-site in small groups. Computer instructions take place in the evenings where we stay at the time. The extraordinary Icelandic landscape keeps you busy taking award winning photographs.
In 2009 Jon Pall founded Galley Myndmal, his private fine art photography gallery in the main shopping street in Reykjavik. In 2010 we began offering the first workshops (since 1992)! In 2011 we are fully committed to offering first class photography adventures in RAW Iceland.
Be there! At the right time, with the right gear, with the right people.

These provide ample space for passengers and photo gear. We use16-20 seat coaches for 8-12 passengers. There is always room for tripods, laptops, camera bags and extra luggage. Our drivers take care of the gear when we run in and out of the coach.

We use special modified 4x4s on highland tours. These superjeeps are on very large tires that enables them to float on the snow on glaciers and in winters. It also lifts the vehicles when fording deep rivers. When using these 4x4s we don't expect more that 4 passengers per cars.
